So all we need to do is google the property address on the LCAD site to determine the purchase date and who the property is now registered to .maybe the state [Tech] --Maybe Hance, or some unknown silent buddy in the realty business or even more intriguing, Tubberville .
If the Date of sale is within my conspiracy time frame , this means Tech AD and cerian Regents have broken state / NCAA hiring protocol by having TWO HEAD Coaches on the payroll at Tech , while one is under contract & the other is hidden under the contract table . . SWEEEEEEEET !!!

Been mighty quiet on here about Leach versus TTU news. IMO there was something of a conspiracy between regents to dump Leach and, maybe, go after Tubberville. Would have liked Leach to be able to bring out all the details in court. Not saying that the law allows regents to be sued for that, or that Leach was blameless, but jes' sayin".

Also--any reactions on the impending implosion of the Big 12?

I was glad when Arkansas went away from the SWC. I have always thought a "Texas" conference could be a contender. There are enough schools in the state to make a respectable group. Oh well, it's all about follow the money and there isn't enough national interest in Texas to make it come here. The money teams are on the west coast now and we have to go for it there.

Talk about being in right place at the right time, Tubberville is there now!

Maybe some of the economic chains that Texas and A&M have had on TTU will be taken away now.

With Houston, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, TTU, T, A&M, Baylor, UNM, Colorado, Az, and AZ State, there would be a muscular Southwest 12.

I guess other than sentiment, the main reason for having a conference composed of a tight cluster of regional teams is to encourage fan and student travel to all the games. Realistically, with higher energy prices, that ought to go out the window. The new thing is TV revenues. Stay home and watch the away games on pay-TV. It's the future.
