2010 NFL Playoffs

So far, disappointing to watch. One game over the first playoff weekend had fireworks, and that team fell flat in their game today. Weekends like this make me yearn for the XFL.

Well, if Warner went down, there is another geezer who can still shine and that is Favre. Will see how he does against the 'Boys. Wish-diction, 35-20 Minn. Prediction, 31-28 Dallas.

The Jets or Chargers I don't know at all. Probably won't watch. And that might be the best game of the weekend.

Im gonna predict that the Cowboys will stop Favre and that big RB #28 today and the Jets will win and those 2 will make it to the big bowl. If the cowboys make it that far, they will win it.

I'ld of never predicted it in the first quarter of the season with the Cowboys. They might just be peaking.

With the Favre luck I think it would be a safe guess as to who may win out. Dallas just didn't bring the attitude today.

Another one-sided game! Slowpokes showed up instead of the Cowpokes. Caught the game at two houses and on radio in between.

Is Jerry Jones going to take this lying down? Will Coach Phillips, the offensive coordinator, and/or Romo be out of a job?

If it were a close game, I figure Wade Phillips would still have a job. The way it was, I think Jones will clean house big time. Wish it were otherwise. There is something so right about the Son of Bum making a success at Dallas.

Romo -- well, it wasn't just Romo; it was a team effort to lose. Whitten and some on defense played well.

Pitiful play by the cowboys. didnt even score a TD. a TD. Clean house with new coaches, find a QB, make Romo a back up somewhere. IMO, thats all he'll ever be. Get Vick or some of the young uns coming out of the draft.
I think the offense needs a lot more attention rather than the defense. although they did give up at the last of the game where Farve threw for his 4th, his 4th TD pass.

I'm not giving up on the Jets. The colts are a better team than the chargers tho. QB manning against the jets rookie QB Sanchez. Go underdogs and make A LOT of history.

S.B., 2010. So far so good. Near even low scoring game, no blow out. Not what some were predicting. (Though Saint saw a close game.)

In the music department, that little country singer held her own fairly well on the Star Spangled Banner. Queen Latifah did less than okay on God Bless America. Which song was/is owned by another singer, whom most young people have not heard of. Here is that singer:

Well, the best thing about the Saints winning, is that Joe Lombardi, Vince Lombardi's grandson, is the Saints quarterback coach, when the Saints got their first Lombardi trophy.

My youngest informed us of the final, not so close score. I guess if need is justification for winning, then NO deserved to win.

I don't watch Queen Latifah to listen to her sing, though those deep breaths can be entertaining. She reminds me of a melanin enhanced Mae West.

No, it's not a roll of quarters in my pocket. I'm just happy to see her.
